The year was 2001, and it was time for the annual exam that noone looks forward to. She hadn’t been in to see the doctor in over four years. so she was a little nervous. There’s really no eloquent way to talk about this type of doctor’s visit so fast-forward to the end, everything went without incident, and she was on her way home. A couple months later she received a call from her doctor, who wanted her to come in to discuss the results. She knew enough to realize this was probably not a good thing.
As anyone who’s read my blog before probably has figured out, I am a big proponent of prevention. When it comes to health, I’d rather make changes in advance, rather than waiting for something to happen and try to fix it then.
I came across another brilliant and informative article that I wanted to share. The link to this is : http://www.naturalnews.com/021808.html . There is a ton of useful information on this site. I’m far from an expert when it comes to natural foods, but I’m learning more every day!
I’ve also pasted the main body below so you can read from here.
When I was doing some independent research online, I happened across a great article on dietary effects of food on cancer probabilities. Click the link below; incredibly informative read!
One side effect of reading and learning more about cancer, I’ve discovered, is a big self-analysis on myself. I knew the basics… smoking bad, too much alcohol bad, fast food bad. But I have learned far more than ever before.
After spending a great deal of time reading studies on cancer prevention and dietary changes you can make to help prevent cancer, I decided to replace any caffiene I’ve been drinking with water. This included my beloved coffee. (I still miss you). One thing I love, however, is the hot beverage first thing in the morning. I figured I would give hot water with lime a try.
