The year was 2001, and it was time for the annual exam that noone looks forward to. She hadn’t been in to see the doctor in over four years. so she was a little nervous. There’s really no eloquent way to talk about this type of doctor’s visit so fast-forward to the end, everything went without incident, and she was on her way home. A couple months later she received a call from her doctor, who wanted her to come in to discuss the results. She knew enough to realize this was probably not a good thing.
Anyone who’s heard Kelly Clarkson’s song “Stronger” cannot deny it’s an inspirational, uplifting song that can apply to so many people in so many different situations. When going through Twitter this morning, I came across what has to be the most inspirational and touching video of people lip-syncing this song.
The Seattle Children’s Hospital Cancer wing put together a video with patients, nurses and parents. Truly, there’s nothing I can say about this video, other than watch it. And remember your cancer charities who are raising money to help people like these amazing kids.
